Job title: Trainee Bus Driver 

Location: Bow

Contract type: Permanent 

Work pattern: Shift work (days, nights & weekends)

Salary: £30,746 on average (full-time), with overtime available  

Start date: ASAP

About the role – Trainee Bus Driver 

  • It all starts with some of the highest quality training, from some of the best (and nicest!) driver trainers in the industry. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about our routes, our vehicles, how to offer the best customer service and more 

  • Once fully trained, you’ll set off on one of our routes, taking responsibility for: 

  • your own vehicle safety checks before setting off 

  • setting your destination blinds to ensure that the correct destination is displayed 

  • providing quality customer service when stopping for customers 

  • checking your vehicle for any lost property on your return to the garage 

 

What we need from you 

  • you must be 18+ years of age (this is a legal requirement) 

  • proof of right to work in the UK 

  • a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points 

  • a drive for quality customer service 

  • a passion for safe and courteous driving on our open roads
